“Agile Agilist” (“we”, “us”) is operated by a group of affiliated entities registered in the countries we serve, including Agile Agilist Inc. (Canada) and Agile Agilist LLC (United States). The entity registered in your region is the controller of your personal information; for customers in Canada and by default, that entity is Agile Agilist Inc., based in Toronto, Ontario. 2. Information we collect
We collect: contact details you submit through our forms (name, email, message); assessment and quiz answers when you choose to email yourself a result; enrollment details for courses (name, email, organization, cohort); payment information, which is processed by Stripe or Eventbrite — we never see or store full card numbers; analytics data via Google Analytics 4; and cookie data as described in our Cookies Policy.
3. How we use it
We use personal information to deliver and administer training (including registering you with Scaled Agile, Inc. or ICAgile for courseware, exams, and certification), to respond to messages you send us, to send cohort communications and invoices, to improve our courses and site, and — with your consent — to send marketing emails. We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Legal bases
Under PIPEDA we collect, use, and disclose personal information with your knowledge and consent, for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate. For visitors from the EU/UK, our legal bases under the GDPR are: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) for enrollment and delivery; consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for marketing and non-essential cookies; and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for service improvement and security.
5. Sharing
We share personal information only with the service providers needed to deliver our services: Stripe and Eventbrite (payments and registration), Scaled Agile, Inc. and ICAgile (courseware access, exams, certification), HubSpot (CRM and email), WordPress.com/Jetpack (hosting), and Google Analytics (aggregate usage). Each processes data under its own safeguards and our instructions. We do not rent or sell lists.
6. International transfers
Some providers (Stripe, HubSpot, Google, Scaled Agile, Inc.) process data in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves Canada or the EU/UK, it is protected by the providers’ contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.
7. Retention
Enrollment and transaction records are kept for 7 years to meet Canadian tax and accounting requirements. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Assessment/quiz submissions and message-form leads are kept for up to 24 months after your last interaction, then deleted or anonymized.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent to marketing at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link), and request a portable copy of data you provided. Contact info@agile-agilist.com; we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, your EU/UK supervisory authority, or, for California residents, exercise rights under the CCPA — we do not sell personal information as defined by that Act.
