Refund Policy

You may cancel your enrollment in any public cohort by emailing info@agile-agilist.com with your order number or Eventbrite receipt. Refunds are based on the notice you give before the first session of your cohort:
- 10 or more business days before the start date: 100% refund.
- 5–9 business days before the start date: 50% refund, or a 100% credit toward any future public cohort within 12 months.
- Fewer than 5 business days before the start date: no cash refund; you may transfer once to a future cohort of the same course free of charge, or send a substitute participant.
- No-show without notice: the fee is forfeited. As a courtesy, no-shows may re-book the same course within 6 months at 50% of the then-current price.
2. Substitutions and rescheduling
You may name a substitute participant at no charge at any time up to 24 hours before the cohort starts — email us their name and contact details. You may reschedule to another public cohort of the same course once free of charge with at least 5 business days’ notice; subsequent reschedules, or reschedules on shorter notice, carry a US$99 administration fee.
3. If we cancel or reschedule
Occasionally we must cancel or move a cohort (for example, insufficient enrollment or instructor emergency). In that case you choose: a 100% refund, or a free transfer to any future cohort of the same course. Agile Agilist is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other incidental costs; for in-person classes we recommend refundable travel bookings.
4. Pass Guarantee
If you attend all sessions of your course in full, take the certification exam within 30 days of class as required by Scaled Agile, Inc., and do not pass: (a) we cover the cost of one exam retake, and (b) you may re-sit the next available public cohort of the same course free of charge. The Pass Guarantee must be used within 6 months of your original class and applies once per enrollment.
5. Exam vouchers, digital materials and platform access
Courseware, workbooks, exam vouchers, and SAFe® Studio / community platform access are activated with third parties (Scaled Agile, Inc.; ICAgile) at or shortly before class. Once platform access has been activated, an exam voucher issued, or digital materials downloaded, those components are non-refundable, and their list value is deducted from any refund otherwise due.
6. Medical and compassionate exceptions; force majeure
If illness, family emergency, or another serious event prevents you from attending, contact us within 48 hours of the missed session. With reasonable documentation we will offer a free transfer to a future cohort regardless of the notice windows above, and will consider refunds case by case. Where delivery is prevented by events beyond either party’s reasonable control, we will reschedule and your enrollment (or a credit) carries forward.
7. Private and corporate engagements
Private cohorts, on-site delivery, consulting, and coaching engagements are governed by the signed Statement of Work or services agreement for that engagement. The terms of this page apply to corporate engagements only where the SOW is silent.
8. How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method (Stripe, or through Eventbrite for Eventbrite registrations) within 10 business days of approval. Where your enrollment was purchased under a promotional discount, the amount actually paid is the amount refunded.
9. How to request a refund
Email info@agile-agilist.com with your name, course, cohort date, and order number or Eventbrite receipt. We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days.
